Back in April, the "Candle in the Wind" legend was forced to cancel several shows after falling ill with a bacterial infection during his South American tour. It was a tough blow, but Elton’s resilience shone through as he took to Instagram to express his gratitude to fans for their unwavering support. “Woke up this morning to an avalanche of kindness and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude,” he shared in a heartfelt post. “Thanks so much to everyone for reaching out. I’m resting well and getting stronger every day. I can’t wait to get back on tour in June.”

From "The Red Piano" to "The Million Dollar Piano"

Elton John’s Las Vegas story didn’t begin with "The Million Dollar Piano." From 2004 to 2009, he wowed audiences with his "The Red Piano" residency, also at Caesars Palace. Now, as he says goodbye to the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas—for now, at least—fans can look forward to seeing more of the music legend in George Michael: Freedom, an upcoming documentary featuring appearances by Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, and Mark Ronson. Catch it on Showtime October 21.
