Trista Sutter Opens Up About Family, Health, And Future Plans

In an exclusive sit-down with Closer Weekly, former Bachelorette star Trista Sutter got candid about her family life, health priorities, and why she's decided to close the book on expanding her family. For those who don’t know, Trista and her husband, Ryan Sutter, have been married since 2003 and are the proud parents of two delightful kids—an 8-year-old daughter named Blakesley and a 10-year-old son named Maxwell. Together, they’ve built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Trista made it crystal clear that their family is complete. "The shop is officially closed!" she joked during the interview. "We’re completely content with the family we have right now. At 45, I’ve already experienced high-risk pregnancies a decade ago, so adding another child just doesn’t feel like the right decision for us." In addition to her age, Trista also revealed that her recent health challenges have influenced her decision. After suffering a seizure in June, she’s now focused on reducing stress in her life. "Another baby would send me through the roof with worry," she admitted. "While I love the idea of babies and pregnancies, my body simply doesn’t enjoy being pregnant. Right now, I’m all about appreciating what I already have, and I truly believe we’re in a great place."
