Royal Life: Prince George And Princess Charlotte's Gadgets-Free Childhood

Hey there, friends! Let’s talk about the royal kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. You might think that being part of the royal family means having every luxury under the sun. But guess what? It turns out that their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are keeping things old-school when it comes to technology. According to a recent report, iPads are strictly off-limits for the little ones! Instead, they’re encouraged to play with traditional toys like dolls, blocks, and more. A source close to the royal couple told Us Weekly, “Neither like the idea of putting an iPad on in front of the kids.”

Now, here’s the thing: Prince William and Kate Middleton both grew up without gadgets for entertainment, so they’re big believers in toys, outdoor play, and fostering an active imagination. Sounds like they’re raising their kids the way they were raised, right? George, who’s 4, and Charlotte, who’s 2, are also lucky enough to spend quality time with their maternal grandparents, Michael and Carole Middleton. The source added, “Kate’s parents often visit them or stay for the full weekend. William enjoys a close relationship with both.” And let’s not forget the fun stuff—George loves anything on wheels and spends hours riding bikes, while Charlotte is all about playing with Disney princess toys. How adorable is that?

Let’s dive deeper into the personalities of these two little cuties. Another recent report from Us Weekly revealed some fascinating details about George and Charlotte. “George is very close with his father. William says they have surprisingly deep conversations these days, and his view of the world is absolutely fascinating to him,” a source revealed. Imagine that—having deep chats with a 4-year-old! The source added, “Not so long ago, William said something like, ‘I never thought I’d see the day when George is talking to me about the value of sharing or the importance of happiness. He’s a bright boy!’”

And what about little Charlotte? Well, she’s just as special in her own way. “Mummy definitely has a shadow. Wherever Kate goes, so does Charlotte. It’s adorable,” the insider shared. “As she’s home a lot more than George, Charlotte spends time in the kitchen ‘helping’ with things. Whenever the housekeeper or Kate is preparing food, Charlotte needs her own little toy set by her side to imitate.” Sounds like Charlotte is already a little helper in the kitchen!

Now, let’s talk about their sibling relationship. George is very protective of his little sister, but they still love to rough and tumble. “She’s not afraid of a grazed knee, and it’s most certainly not going to stop her from running around corridors like a girl possessed,” the insider said. “Charlotte has a very active imagination and a curious nature. She’s always got her eye on something and moves at the speed of light!” Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this dynamic duo when royal baby No. 3 arrives next spring!
