Let me tell you a story about the royal family that’s got everyone smiling. At the Commonwealth Day reception earlier this week, Prince William gave us a glimpse into the life of his adorable daughter, Princess Charlotte. The two-year-old, it turns out, is a little dancing queen! During the event at Marlborough House, William shared this charming tidbit while chatting with Malta’s leader, Joseph Muscat, and his wife, Michelle Muscat. Now, isn’t that just the sweetest thing?
Michelle Muscat mentioned that her daughters were attending a performing arts school, and Prince William couldn’t help but chime in with a proud dad moment. “My daughter Charlotte loves dancing,” he said. This isn’t the first time William has opened up about his youngest child. Recently, during a visit to Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool, England, he joked that Charlotte is going to be “trouble” when she grows up. “All fathers say that to me — watch out for the little girls,” William reportedly told patient Pagan Tordengrav. It’s moments like these that make the royal family feel so relatable, don’t you think?

Of course, Charlotte isn’t just a dancing princess—she’s also got a bit of a feisty side. Last year, the little royal made headlines after throwing a sweet meltdown during the royal family’s five-day tour of Germany and Poland. Her face scrunched up, her feet stomped, and before you knew it, her mom swooped in to calm her down. It’s moments like these that remind us that even royalty has its toddler tantrums!
And speaking of changes, things are about to get even busier in the Cambridge household. William and Kate Middleton are expecting their third child any day now. While the couple has kept most of the details under wraps, they’ve confirmed that the new baby is due sometime in April. But here’s where it gets interesting—according to UK’s The Sun, the baby might make its debut on a very patriotic day. St. George’s Day, celebrated on April 23, could be the lucky day when the newest addition to the royal family arrives.
“There’s no certainty with due dates, of course, but the Duchess is working off a date around St. George’s Day, and it would be a lovely patriotic coincidence if he or she were born then,” an insider told The Sun. If Kate were to deliver a bit late, like she did with Prince George, the baby could even arrive as a special wedding anniversary gift to William on April 29. How’s that for timing?
Like with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Kate and William have reportedly decided not to find out the gender of their baby. And it looks like they’ll be sticking with tradition when it comes to the birth location too. According to The Sun, Kate will give birth at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, the same place where her other two children were born. It’s going to be a whirlwind few weeks for the royal family, but one thing’s for sure—they’re in for an exciting time.
