Hey there, friends! Let me tell you a heartwarming story that’s melting hearts all over the internet. John Stamos, the beloved Uncle Jesse from Full House, just did something so sweet that I couldn’t help but share it with you. A little girl named Iris was absolutely heartbroken because she wanted to meet Uncle Jesse so badly. Can you believe it? Well, John heard about this and decided to do something truly special. He reached out to Iris through FaceTime, making her day—and ours too. Check out the video above to see their adorable interaction!
It all started when Iris's mom, Rachel Houston, posted a video of her little one tearing up because she wanted Uncle Jesse to come over. The video quickly went viral, and before long, it reached John Stamos himself. In the clip, you can hear Iris saying, “I want Uncle Jesse,” between her tears. When John saw the heartfelt video, he knew he had to act. The very next day, he was FaceTiming with Iris, bringing joy and laughter into her life. “Well, I had an illuminating 15 minute, 43 second FaceTime chat with my new friend, Iris,” John wrote on Instagram. They laughed, cried, and laughed again, covering everything under the sun. John even extended an invitation for Iris to visit the Fuller House set this summer. Sounds like Iris will get to meet Uncle Jesse in person soon!
In other news, John recently tied the knot with his pregnant fiancée, Caitlin McHugh, in a small, intimate ceremony back in early February. “They exchanged vows in front of family and close friends. It was a very touching ceremony. There were tears but mostly smiles. John and Caitlin looked very happy,” a source revealed to People. However, not everyone could make it to the big day. Aunt Becky, played by Lori Loughlin, was unable to attend due to prior commitments. “We were all invited. Unfortunately, Candace [Cameron Bure] and I already committed to go to the Super Bowl months and months in advance so we couldn’t be there. But we certainly were all invited,” Becky actress Lori Loughlin explained. “All the Hallmark executives were taking us to the Super Bowl. It was so much fun but we already committed to that. So we, unfortunately, could not be at John’s wedding.” Luckily, some of his other Full House castmates, including Dave Coulier (Joey), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), and Bob Saget (Danny), were able to attend and celebrate the joyous occasion.
