Hey there, let’s talk about something that’s been buzzing around Hollywood. Another one of our beloved celebrity couples has called it quits, and while we might be surprised, let’s be honest—it wasn’t entirely unexpected. Sources close to the situation exclusively told Life & Style that Jennifer Aniston had reached her limit in her marriage. And guess what? She reportedly reconnected with ex-husband Brad Pitt after his split from Angelina Jolie. On February 15, Jen officially confirmed the separation from her husband of two years, Justin Theroux.

The couple released a joint statement to AP, saying their split was “mutual and loving.” They explained, “Normally, we would handle this privately, but given the gossip industry's tendency to speculate and fabricate, we wanted to share the truth directly.” Jen’s publicist, Stephen Huvane, added, “Above all, we remain committed to maintaining the deep respect and love we have for one another.”
But here’s the kicker: they described themselves as “two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.” Sounds amicable, right? However, sources paint a slightly different picture. Life & Style reports that the relationship had been under immense strain, with Justin living in New York and Jen in Los Angeles. “Jen saw the signs coming,” a close friend revealed. “They were apart for a solid month leading up to her birthday on February 11, and it was pretty much radio silence between them.”
When Justin hinted that he might not be able to visit for Jen’s birthday, her heart sank, and she reportedly cried. “When they hung up, she felt like he’d already checked out emotionally,” the source added. Although Justin did eventually make an appearance, it felt more out of obligation than genuine affection. “He was just going through the motions. The marriage was all but over,” the friend explained.
Just four days after her birthday, they made the split public. The couple began dating in 2011, moved in together in 2012, got engaged, and eventually tied the knot in August 2015. Two years later, the relationship began to unravel. Luckily for Jen, she’s had Brad Pitt to lean on during this tough time. “Brad and Jen have reconnected like never before over the past year,” a source shared. “They’ve been supporting each other through their respective challenges.” With Jen single again, it’s anyone’s guess where her relationship with Brad might go from here.
