James may have wrapped up his Cake Kit Company in 2015, but he didn’t stop there. He pivoted to another sweet venture: Boomf Marshmallows. This unique business lets customers personalize marshmallows for special occasions, turning them into edible works of art. In a 2014 interview with Brides, James revealed that both Kate and Pippa were huge fans of his marshmallow creations. “They’re incredibly supportive and always curious about what I come up with,” he said. “My family was the first to taste-test my recipes. The marshmallows got the thumbs-up from the very first batch, so I was thrilled with that.”

James and TV presenter Donna Air have had a rollercoaster relationship, but things seem to be on solid ground now. The two looked absolutely smitten at Pippa’s wedding to James Matthews back in May. In November 2016, James opened up about their connection in an interview with The Daily Mail. He expressed his deep love for Donna and her 14-year-old daughter, Freya, from a previous relationship. “I love Donna very much, and Freya is a huge part of Donna’s life,” he shared. “It’s not about ‘Donna’ and ‘Oh, she has a child.’ That’s never how I’ve seen it. Marriage isn’t something I’m scared of, but it’s not necessarily the be-all and end-all.”
