"This trip to Montana is incredibly significant to Celine," a close friend of the singer revealed to Closer Weekly. "It’s a cherished family tradition that they hold dear."

Since the passing of her beloved husband, René Angélil, in 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer, Celine, now 49, has strived to honor his memory in every way possible. Her commitment extends to their sons—René-Charles, 16, and the twins, Eddy and Nelson, 7. "Celine still feels René's presence in Montana," her friend explained, shedding light on why the exclusive Yellowstone Club remains a favored destination for the family. "René adored visiting this place. Skiing with his family, relaxing, and celebrating Christmas together as a unit was something he cherished deeply. Celine wants her boys to preserve that connection to their father. This was his sanctuary, his happy place."

In Montana, Celine will be joined by her extended family, including her sister and René’s three adult children from his previous marriages. "Last year, when Celine returned here for the first time since René passed away, she said she could feel him watching over her and her boys," her friend shared with Closer.
