Lori Loughlin Shares Why She Skipped John Stamos' Wedding

Turns out, John Stamos' wedding to Caitlin McHugh wasn’t exactly a full house from the "Full House" gang. In a candid new interview, Lori Loughlin opened up about why she wasn’t there to celebrate alongside her former co-star in early February. Let’s dive into the details.

Why Lori Loughlin Missed the Big Day

According to Lori, the entire "Full House" cast was invited to John Stamos' special day. Unfortunately, she and Candace Cameron Bure had other plans already locked in. “We were all invited. But unfortunately, Candace [Cameron Bure] and I had committed to go to the Super Bowl months in advance, so we couldn’t be there,” Lori explained to Us Weekly. She went on to clarify, “All the Hallmark executives had taken us to the Super Bowl. It was such a fun experience, but we had already made that commitment. So, unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to John’s wedding.”

Flowers and Regrets

Lori felt terrible about missing out on such an important event in John's life. To make up for it, she sent a thoughtful gesture. “I sent flowers, and I was really bummed that I already had plans,” Lori admitted. Interestingly, not everyone from the show missed the celebration. “Dave [Coulier] went, Jodie [Sweetin] went. I think Bob [Saget] was there too. Candace and I would have been there, but unfortunately, the timing didn’t work out. Caitlin and John planned things a bit last-minute, and we had already committed to something else,” she elaborated.

John's Upcoming Parenthood

During another recent interview, Lori shared her thoughts on John’s journey into fatherhood. She’s confident that he’ll be an amazing dad. “I don’t think John needs any parental advice. I truly believe John is going to be a great dad. But of course, he knows I’m here for him if he ever needs any advice. Honestly, I think John and Caitlin have everything covered,” Lori gushed.

A Lasting Professional Bond

Even though she couldn’t attend the wedding, Lori still cherishes her professional relationship with John. “I absolutely love working with John. We have such a fantastic rapport and chemistry. After all these years of working together, it’s like we have this unspoken language. Everything just flows naturally between us,” she told Us Weekly.
