PTI Retreats as D-Chowk Protest Concludes

The much-publicized D-Chowk protest led by PTI came to an anticlimactic end as the party announced its retreat after several hours of heightened demonstrations in the heart of Islamabad. The protest, primarily organized to demand the release of Imran Khan and to express dissatisfaction with the current government’s policies, drew thousands of PTI supporters from across the country.

The protest began amidst heavy security measures, with authorities implementing Section 144 and deploying a large contingent of law enforcement personnel to prevent any untoward incidents. Roads leading to D-Chowk were cordoned off, causing significant disruptions to traffic and daily life in the capital.
