In memory of Munir Niazi

A person like me, who is not very “social”, gets rid of riots, parties, thanks to Allah after successful “lobbying” for a good “cause” and in this campaign. He thanks everyone for his cooperation, because he who cannot thank men cannot thank God. The story goes that I used to be very angry seeing roads, overheads, underpasses, intersections named after some Tut Ponjis. After the death of a unique and timeless poet like Munir Niazi, I was waiting for something to be attributed to Pir Munir Niazi, but no. Then I decided to lobby. My first target was Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. Thank you Usman Buzdar that you not only promised, but also fulfilled. The second target was Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was formally briefed that there is no one like Munir Niazi in Urdu poetry. My third “lottery” was Corresponding Secretary, Bakmal Bureau Secretary, Muhsin of my city Lailpur and brothers like Noor Alamin Mengal. The result was that Usman Buzdar met at a function yesterday and shared the good news that on the anniversary of Munir Niazi, one of the most important overhead bridges is being named after Munir Niazi.

Pir Muneer is one of the few people in my life whom I loved a lot and I also got his endless kindness. I started my career with the historical monthly “Dhank” published under the leadership of Sarwar Sukhira Sahib, which proved to be the beginning of my love with Munir because Sarwar Bhai started writing columns with Munir Sahib and thus “Dhank”. Munir Sahib started coming and going in the office and the introduction started setting the boundaries of knowledge. Once Munir went to Karachi, I took the phone number of his host and took a promise that he would also send his column by the specified date, which obviously had to come by letter, as those were the times of letters. 3-4 days before the scheduled date, I called him for a reminder and first asked him how he was doing, then he said in his special tone… “Hasan! The people of Karachi have given so much love that I am thinking of depriving the people of Lahore of Munir Niazi and staying in Karachi. It is very difficult to decide about Munir Niazi whether he himself was more beautiful, his poetry was more beautiful or his conversation was more captivating. The memory of Sartapa poet Munir Niazi is the fragrance. My first book came out in 1981, titled “Aadhi Masa’in”, the third edition of which was published by Shoaib bin Aziz’s company “Tartib Publications”. It was actually a collection of letters written from abroad. Which my first wife continued to manage. In one of the letters I wrote that what could be a greater tragedy than that I had to leave the country and the city of Lahore where Munir Niazi lives. I will not bear this loss anymore, etc. Even at the time of publication of the letters I was abroad. Someone mentioned this letter of “half meeting” to Munir Sahib or that Hasan Nisar remembered you in a strange way. Munir Sahib said to whom, “Hassan, whenever he comes to Pakistan, tell me.” He came back after four or six months. One day in the evening, he suddenly took someone with him to my house in Model Town and said, “What kind of love is this?” It is that they do not forget me in the regions and do not come here to meet me, they leave without meeting me.

And this is the mention of those days when Abrar Bhatti was the president of Model Town Club, he used to warn me that “Come to the club, I am also coming.” I would reach before Munir Sahib’s arrival and open the door of His Excellency President’s room and keep an eye in front that as soon as Munir Sahib’s car arrived, I would go out and receive him myself. Abrar also loved him very much and left no stone unturned to arrange his arrival. In the long session, the effort was to speak less and listen to them as much as possible. It is a strange coincidence that at the beginning of the career, there were numerous meetings with him or we kept in touch for one and a half years before his departure. The middle interval was almost lost.

A sentence is attributed to Munir Sahib that “Pakistan gave birth to three beautiful people.” One is Santosh Kumar, the other is Fazal Mehmood and the third is Munir Niazi. I was lucky to be close to two of them. Santosh Bhai’s I was a member of the house because his youngest brother Mansoor was and still is one of my dearest friends. Muneer Sahib was my “personal income” and saw Fazal Mehmood Sahab only once in his life when he was standing outside the “Jang” office with a cane waiting for the sports reporter and my friend Supra to come down. A road in Muslim Town has also been requested to be named after Santosh Bhai, who was the first superstar of Pakistan film industry and one of the founders of this industry. People say, “He is not a human being, he is a masterpiece of painting”.

Beautiful and elegant people are the collective heritage and identity of any society. . . . . And also the trust of future generations in which betrayal does not adorn.

The Silent Battle: Understanding Cancer, Its Types, and it’s Impact on Families and Patients

Cancer, a word itself causes terror into the hearts of the patients and their loved ones, it is a very complex disease which is caused when there is an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body that continuously spreads. There are various types of cancers affecting millions of people all over the world. In 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) gives us the record of about 10 million cancer patients who do not survive this disease as per year, which makes it the second leading cause of death globally. However, as hard it is for the patients fighting for their lives, it is as hard for their families bearing this deep burden and emotions as well as financial, and social challenges that cancer brings.
This feature story helps explain the nature of cancer, its different types, and the impact it has on both patients and their families.

Understanding Cancer

Cancer is a disease of the cells. Cells grow in a healthy body, then they multiply and eventually die in a controlled manner. Cancer disturbs the entire system and disrupts this process of cell growing, causing cells to grow uncontrollably, turns them into harmful tumors, and stage after stage starts spreading to other parts of the body (a process which is also called as metastasis). Some types of cancers make solid tumors and some like leukemia, only affect the blood and tissues that forms blood. Cancer is not age limited disease it can occur at any age, but the risk of this disease increases with age due to the extreme damage to cellular DNA over time.
Now if we talk about the types of cancers, the research shows that there are about 100+ types of cancer and each type of cancer has its own unique ability and properties but the only thing commong in them is that they share this trait of generating abnormal cells in the body.

Types of Cancer
1. Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, but men can develop it too. It occurs when cells in the breast begin to grow abnormally. Early detection through regular scanning has make a difference in the outcomes for many patients, but research shows rhat the breast cancer still remains one of the main causes of cancer related deaths in women all over the world.

2. Lung Cancer

Lung cancer, has a strong connection with smoking, is also a main cause of cancer related death widely. But this cancer is also not limited to just smokers it can most definitely also affect nonsmokers because of their contact with different environmental factors like radon gases etc. It can also affect people with passive smoking. Lung cancer is a silent killer because the symptoms aren’t obvious until it’s too late. This type of cancer can be divided into two major types: non-small cell lung cancer and small cell lung cancer, and different treatment are required in both types.

3. Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is a cancer in the male prostate gland, which grows slowly. Most of the men that are diagnosed with prostate cancer can live for years without even realizing because of no obvious symptoms without needing any treatment. But in some cases, it can be more painful and spread to other parts of the body needing the patients to go through more intensive therapy.

4. Leukemia

Leukemia is a cancer of the tissue abnormally forming in the blood, including the bone marrow and lymphatic system. It affects children and older adults and is narrow down into four main types: acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Leukemia cells are present in the blood unlike the other cells which makes it hard to detect it on the early stage.

5. Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer affects the colon or rectum and is one of the most preventable forms of cancer with regular screening. The development of the small hemorrhoid or small growths in the lining of the colon, can lead to cancer if they are not treated. With early detection, often through colonoscopy, theres a high chances of survival.

6. Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is the most common cancer globally and are classified into three types: basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. Melanoma is a less commom most dangerous type because it can spread to other parts of the body if not detected early. Sun exposure, particularly UV radiation, is the main cause of skin cancer.

7. Lymphoma

Lymphoma forms in the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system of the body. There are two main types of lymphoma: Hodgkin’s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This cancer affects lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, and is it has an ability to multiply and spread to various parts of the body.
These were just a few examples of the most common cancers, but there are many other types, such as ovarian, pancreatic, bladder, and thyroid cancer, each with its own unique characteristics and complexities.

The Emotional and Psychological Impact on Patients

Diagnosing with cancer is often one of the most traumatic experiences a person can experience in his/her life. The feeling of uncertainty of whether you are going to survive or not and what does the future holds scares a person leading depression and traumatic mental state. Many patients experience mixed emotions, from fear and anxiety to anger and aggression.
Even the treatment itself causes so many problems like nausea, fatigue, hair loss, and other side effects that worsen the emotional condition. When u talk to the cancer survivors, they often talk about the “new normal” they have to adjust to, because life after cancer is not the same as before. Cancer has a lot of impacts on human’s psychology as well, it leads to the feelings of isolation, depression, anxiousness and in some cases, post-traumatic stress disorder.
However, it’s essential to take care of these patients and support them both physically and mentally, including counseling and regular therapy. This helps patients manage the emotional burden of this horrifying disease. Many cancer patients find peace in support groups, where they can share their experiences with others who understand the whole tenure of the disease.

The Family’s Burden

Cancer is not only hard for just the patients but also for their families. This news crushes their heart into pieces leaving them in tears and uncertainty of what their loved one will go through playing the role of their caregivers while balancing their own lives with the needs of the patient. This can cause emotional exhaustion, financial strain, and feelings of helplessness. Watching a loved one suffer is one of the hardest experiences a person can face.
Caregivers often experience a thing which is known a burnout, this is a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion. The responsibility of medical followups, providing emotional and verbal support, and managing daily life responsibilities can become very overwhelming. For many, the fiscal impact is equally straining. Since cancer treatment is expensive, and the costs of care and medications place a heavy burden on families.
Children of cancer patients struggles to deal with their parent’s illness. They may feel confused, scared, or even guilty. Parents with cancer often stresses a lot about the effect of their illness on their children.

Cancer is a complex disease that affects not just those diagnosed but also their families, friends, everyone related to them. It is very important to understand the different types of cancer and their impact to provide empathy and support for those battling the disease. With the scientific research of cancer, it is equally important to recognize the emotional, psychological, and financial challenges that comes with the it. Through awareness, early detection, and effort to support them, we can continue this battle against cancer while taking away some of the burden on patients and their families.

“My vote is my will, your note is your will”

I was going to write on some other topic but after seeing the headline of the newspaper, my mood changed and I changed my mind because our innate democracy is more interesting, bold and immoral than any topic in the world.

I am very happy to know that even in this worst inflation, a zealous and conscious but hungry, unemployed vote is available for only two thousand rupees, although technically, two thousand rupees may not even be one thousand, but to be honest, public language. I have been ‘take basket’ and this is what should have happened with this ‘vote’ and this is what will continue to happen.

Contradictions and falsehood are our food, otherwise how is it possible that Mian Sahib, the inventor of vote buying and selling, would give up his efforts to honor the vote, that they are the product of disrespecting the vote itself and this was the trick that made him lose the councilor election. He was made the Prime Minister of this country three times. All the rest are riddles and stories.

The fact is that this is the real price and timings of “Vote Sharif”. For two thousand rupees, it is difficult to get a handful of Chalghoza, Dhang ke Moza ‘Eranmore’, two boxes of tobacco, a coat of Linde and a few Qeeme democratic naans, but ‘Rai’ can be bought easily. Once, this poem was written in honor of this ridiculous vote

Invested, opinions can be stolen

Water can also be set on fire

In the last 30 years, he must have repeated his favorite phrase at least 30 times that “He who does not have the ground under his feet and a roof over his head cannot have his own opinion.” Free opinion belongs to “free” people, not slaves, and don’t forget that there are many types of slaves and the “common man” in societies like ours is chained to layers of slavery until the ‘Caste community’ is also the worst form of slavery that is born from the womb of the worst ignorance, otherwise how is it possible that I vote for a Paji and Khabisul Dahar just because he belongs to me? From ‘community’ but that’s all there is to it.

In constituency NA 133 of Lahore, the PML-N and the People’s Party accused each other of buying votes. Buying votes is honoring the vote? I don’t know if this bare trade of democracy is honor or dishonor, but I can swear that … the truth is that this entire democracy, including the vote, was, is and will always be for sale.

This is the reason why I strongly hate this “Bulavi”, in English “Bulavi” is called a call girl, but the more important question is that when the “responsible” results from the Election Commission’s notice. will be arrested, will only those who buy votes of conscience be arrested, or will the sellers be rounded up because the fact is that both the buyer and the seller are criminals, in such a case, selling votes They said that…

“My vote is my will”

So what would be the answer?

Especially if the vote-seller was a widowed mother of two or three small children and she folded her hands and said to the mothers of democracy, “Holy! The children were hungry for two days and I sold my vote thinking that vote selling is better than prostitution and even so vote for whoever, the result is the same, so what does it matter?’ ‘

City dwellers do not and cannot know that as they move from urban centers to remote, backward areas, the “disrespect” of the vote will become more common. In the “Bay” Britain of democracy, this craze came in stages and when it came, we are still far behind those times, but not because our ballot boxes are filled with lies but our skulls remain empty. . What an interesting and strange kind of people we are, we have our financial system 100% western political system 100% copied and called “Islamic Republic”.

When someone mentions “interest-free system,” it sounds false and fraudulent, the whole economy is indebted to loans, interest or mark-up on loans, then this drama is like putting a bouquet in the commode, but just like we have anything. Not original, similarly thinking is not original. Most people die only their bodies, some people’s souls also die, vomiting of words or dysentery,

Political system ….Western democracy

The financial system…..busy dancing around the western dollar

The most popular sport is the western cricket

Honorable Language ….English

Favorite Food….Pizza, Burger, Pasta, Chips, Noodles etc.

For vacations….Europe, USA, Canada, Australia

Is all this not enough for the “vote” or two or four thousand things and miss? Yet usury is haram and everything else is halal.

My vote…my will

Your note … your will

“USE IT OR LOOSE IT”

Perhaps we have decided never to think, to understand and to learn, even though under extreme compulsion the very late have revisited many of their stubbornness, for example, from loudspeakers to photographs, from injections to blood and Till organ donation, from medical colleges to dye section and then to printing press, we did not put “uri” anywhere and did not eat mouth.

Nowadays, when I see Jabba and Dastar talking to “untouchables” in certain types of TV programs, I just keep watching and strange thoughts surround me. For example, in Islam, only four for taxes Terms are used.

No. 1. Usher

No. 2. Tax

No. 3. Jizya

Number 4. Zakat

So tell me that the 20 types of taxes that have enveloped us like a dragon, are all these taxes “un-Islamic” and “un-Sharia”? Not at all, because it is obvious that the era of tribute and Jizya has passed away, just like the era of camels, horses, donkeys, and mules have passed away, and today if there are all four “Islamic” taxes, is this the most expensive war of making atomic bombs? Will it be enough for 1000x to buy ships, build big and small dams, build motorways (including eating commission kickbacks), build airports, etc. etc.?

The purpose of submission is that if we show flexibility step by step under the most severe coercion, pressure, coercion or fear, we will not be able to meet with God and not with the will of sanam and blowing the pajamas after Eid. If they are still not coming, when will they come? They neither learn nor understand even from examples. It is just yesterday when there was no such hype about a kind man like Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and today Har Lalu Panju has entered the arms of the English medium.

One of the characteristics of a believer is that he understands the requirements of his covenant, which was described by Ali Shariati as follows:

CHANGING RULES FOR THE CHANGING NEEDS

UNCHANGING RULES FOR THE UNCHANGING NEEDS

Only the Lord of the Worlds is the Creator, Owner and Sustainer of the universes

Holy Quran is the last inspired book

Our master, Khatam-ul-Nabien

The Farewell Sermon, the Last Sermon and the Eternal Rules

But here the situation is that when the tractor came, he said that this is a conspiracy against us so that this machine will destroy our lands. The first attempt at electrification in Raiwind was “failed” by thugs and the allegation was that the “electricians” wanted to kill our children. When the British started laying railway tracks in the sub-continent, the pure souls got busy in the propaganda that Ferangi is laying these iron belts so that our India can be dragged to England.

When people heard about the bicycle, they raised the million dollar question that nothing can stand on two wheels. I myself saw an Arab eating forbidden meat in a plane, so I asked, “Isn’t it haram?” Smiling, he said, “You people’s Islam” is “Indian Islam” “Brother” it is Farmy.

We have accepted many attitudes by force but after wasting a lot of time and the same continuity of thinking has badly corroded the creativity and that is why the Muslims who laid the foundations of science, for centuries no one. Big and decisive scientists could not be produced because if the use of the brain is stopped, it gradually becomes useless, i.e. “LOOSE IT OR USE IT” which is also called “USE IT OR LOOSE IT”. On the other hand, if we have compromised from the political system to the financial system, what is left?

The work is of the “Ulama”, we can be frustrated or frustrated by seeing our situation and now a few lines from the foreword of the book of the former Chief Justice of Pakistan Muhammad Munir, the name of the book is “Janah Se”. till Zia”

These laws were passed when the PNA was in power. Of course, these are the products of the same parties. The result was that the parties opposed to the establishment of Pakistan, due to the irony of history, got into a position where they could not only destroy the concept of Pakistan of the Quaid-e-Azam, but they also made such laws. which were contrary to the Qur’anic injunctions. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful, but there is not even a doubt of His Mercy in the Ordinance.

Muhammad Munir 39 Gulberg V Lahore 8th August 1949

The last thing is that surely a big mistake is being committed continuously, otherwise how can the whole world of Islam be in its current defeated, backward state, that the task of leading the world was supposed to be taken from him and what is the definition of Ijtihad. ?
