Ali Amin Gandapur, a prominent PTI leader and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has been at the center of political tensions as he leads a protest in Islamabad. PTI plans to stage a sit-in at D-Chowk on October 15, 2024, protesting against the government’s refusal to allow PTI leadership to meet Imran Khan, who is currently in Adiala jail. Gandapur vowed to lead PTI workers from KP to Islamabad despite concerns within the party over the timing of the protest, which coincides with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
